The LK75 is crafted with a top-mounted PC plate and PCB, a combination that promises stability and a consistent typing feel. Additionally, its design emphasizes noise reduction, integrating silent switches, innovative PET pads, and multiple layers of silicone to suppress any potential typing disturbances. Gamakay offers this keyboard in a variety of pre-lubed switches from their Silent or Planet series: GamaKay Silent Series (Phoenix, Griffin, Pegasus) and GamaKay Planet Series (Clicky tones) (Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars). The noise level seems almost as silent as the TK75 as we opted for the Pegasus Switches from Gamakay’s Silent series for our board.
The LK75 also comes with a robust 5000 mAh battery that carried us from the start of our work day well into a few games of Apex Legends and the responsiveness of the keys and useful SmartKnob allowed us to seamlessly swap between our Macbook and Windows PC while keeping us up to date on the time and remaining battery life.
This keyboard offers visual customization options like the MDA White Orange keycaps or the artistically designed PBT 5-sided heat-sublimation Constellation keycaps, ensuring that users can style their keyboard to reflect their personality.
We opted to swap out the stock keycaps with a combination of Razer’s Doubleshot PBT Keycap Upgrade Kit in Phantom White and DROP’s Artifact Bloom Series in Matcha Mango. Be wary though, as with many Gamakay keyboards, the RGB lighting is south-facing so you won’t get as bright a glow through your shine-thru keycaps that are traditionally at the north of the cap.
